Happy Easter

Grace had a very nice Easter this year despite battling a nasty cold. She had her first Easter egg hunt on Saturday and got the hang of it pretty quickly; just as soon as she discovered there was something INSIDE the eggs. I think she collected about 10 in total which is pretty good for a hunt with a lot of 2 & 3 yr olds. She loves Peeps and got a kick out of feeding them to us (see Papa's bite above). We colored Easter eggs with our neighbors on Friday and on Easter Sunday Grandma made a terrific Easter feast for the Porco's and Hegness'. Grace got 3 Easter baskets between Mike and I (aka 'the Easter bunny') and her wonderful Grandparents!! We hope you had a great Easter too!!

Birthdays!!

What a great weekend! It was Poppy's 88th birthday so he came down from SF with Aunt "Marsh" and we got to spend a lot of quality time with them both. The brought Grace a beautiful spring outfit and "buddy" the bunny, and Nana put together a fabulous birthday party for Poppy tonight. We also celebrated ANOTHER important birthday....because beautiful Paige Murphy was brought into the world on Saturday. I think she kind of looks like her daddy and Grace is so excited for another girlfriend to play with. Congratulations Jen, Ky (as Grace says) and Paige!!
