Spring has Sprung

I am so excited that Spring is here because Grace LOVES to be outside and now we can do all kinds of fun outdoor activities. Something as simple as playing with a bowl of ice in the backyard makes Grace a very happy girl. She constantly goes to the sliding door and says "side" for "outside". She then runs to the side of the house to yell for "Sugar", "Cudds" (Cuddles) and "Mimi" - the little girl & her dogs next door. We've been going to lots of Gymboree lately. We went back to the petting zoo this week and Grace did not want to leave the goat pin. It's hard to believe she will be 1 1/2 in a few days. Can I please freeze her right now because this age is the BEST!!!!

Grandma and "Ash"

Today we enjoyed the afternoon with Grandma and "Ash" -as Grace says- at the Irvine Spectrum. Grace loved throwing pennies in the fountain and she wiped all three of us out of our penny stashes. Ash and I took her on the train ride and Grace was VERY excited to get her first pair of crocs today at Nordstrom. We got her cute little butterfly and bee button-thingys and she can't stop admiring her feet. I had to pry them off before her bath tonight and I'm sure she'll ask for them first thing tomorrow...she got the shoe thing from her daddy for sure!

Slide

Grace really enjoys the park so we try to go at least a couple times a week. She loves playing in the sand, swinging, climbing & going down the slides - like this!
