Ethan & Cami

We spent some quality time with our besties this weekend and met-up at Chuck E Cheese on Monday.  Our plan was to go to the park and have a picnic, but the weather was just too cold.  The kids spent two hours playing games, eating pizza & having fun.

Succulents

I recently bought Mike a succulent terrarium for his office and I'm getting excited to make some this Spring.  Succulents do so well at my house because they are super low maintenance, grow quickly, and look so pretty. I found some really cute eastery baskets in the dollar section at Target this morning and will use them as gifts.  

GiGi and the Fishing Trip

 

Today my dad and I took the girls to visit their 96-year old great grandma (GiGi) in Yucaipa.  It was great to see her and watch her interact and laugh with Grace and Camryn. It's amazing to think GiGi has been alive for 96 years and Cami loves telling people she is now 2.  What a difference!!  The home she lives in is very close to an apple orchard and recreation area high in the mountains.  The girls played in snow and caught their first rainbow trout in a cute little trout farm packed full of fish.  It would literally take them 5-10 seconds to hook a fish, which is perfect for little ones.  We watched our fishing guide/helper Victor gut the fish.  They found it fascinating. We took GiGi a 10 pound apple pie and brought the trout back to Nani & Papa's house to BBQ for dinner.  Grace put a fork in the eyeball as pictured above but did not like eating the fish.  Cami was not a huge fan either, but what a great experience for these two!
