A Girls Playdate

Have I ever mentioned that most of my close girlfriends all have little girls? It makes playdates and activities so fun and it will only get better when the girls are old enough to join us at the spa and for pedicures and other girlie activities. Today we had a fun playdate at Megan's house. Here is a group of us moms who have been friends since the good 'ole college days, along with our little ones :) They all played so well together!! Grace can't wait to see her friends again.

It's a Small World After All....

I have to admit, I think I liked the Small World ride even more than Grace today. It's been at least 10 years since I've been on that ride - last time we went to Disneyland it was closed so they could make the seats bigger for all the fat americans - and it was so cute. You can't help but feel the love in there! Grace also really enjoyed the characters (esp. Minnie) and the Winnie the Pooh Ride. I love watching her get excited at Disneyland.
OK, so she doesn't look so happy here but I SWEAR she liked it :)

19 Month Stats

Grace is in a growing spurt! We just had her 1 1/2 yr. checkup (a little late) and here are her new stats:

Height - 34" / 94%
Weight - 26.2 lbs / 70%
HC - 19 cm / 87%

This is the first time Grace has been in the 90+ percentile so I'm thinkin she's gonna be tall like mommy and daddy! She hated the doctor's office but had her first lollipop after her shots which made everything much better.
Some of the fun things Grace is doing now...
1. Counting 1 to 10 (we're so amazed, thanks Sesame Street)
2. She loves to repeat words we say
3. Her first sentance - "Wash your car dada"
4. She LOVES her bubby (bunny lovie) and bits (paci)
5. Playing with Playdoh, pretending to be a "baby", playing with her friends, and hide & seek.
6. She loves Elmo, Sesame Street, Little People and Jana Alayra music
such a sweetie :)
