17 Months
Cami is 17 months old....so close to 1 1/2 now! She is talking a lot. Her favorite words are mama, dada, doo or da (grace), papa, nana, grandmas, NO, ELMO, dog, coco, bye bye, night night, baby, bar (barney), rile (riley her buddy down the street), duck...and the list goes on. She can put two words together now as well, like "bye bye elmo". Cami is a total sweetie, great sleeper, takes one nap a day in the late morning, isn't into her food right now, loves music, dancing, the park, friends, disneyland, her grandparents. She is adventurous, wants to do stuff the older kids do (like ride a scooter or skidder), and LOVES her big sister. She goes with the flow and her favorite pastimes: looking at books, elmo shows, videos on my iphone, getting into my shoes and walking around the room in heels, playing with rosco, helping me unload the dishwasher, going to Petsmart to see the animals and she ADORES Mike. She is an amazing blessing to us and we love her soooooooo much!!!

Disneyland
We went to Disneyland on Tuesday afternoon after Cami's nap. It was the first time we've gone in the afternoon and it was crowded but the lines were quick on the rides we go on. I can't wait for more than 15 minutes with Cami. I LOVE having Disney passes. It makes for such a fun monthly activity and we can stay for as long as we want without feeling any pressure to get on as many rides as possible. Plus, each time we discover new things and Grace loves going with her friends. She is getting more adventurous and rode the Astro Orbitor for the first time with my friend Amy and her buddy Nola. Cami is fearless on the rides and loves seeing all the characters. When we were leaving Minnie AND Mickey came out right in front of us so we were second in line to see them. Great way to end a super day!!
PS - Nana this post is for you. I vow to update my blog more often!! :)

I'm a Blog Slacker
I have been quite the blog slacker this month but it's been for many good reasons. I have finally hit that turning point where taking care of Cami has become so much easier. I remember it with Grace and it happened at about 14 months. The girls are playing great together and I've had more TIME. Sooooo, I've organized the hec out of our house; I was inspired by an organization blog. From the girls room, to all toys, to linen closets, and even under our bed! It's the best feeling and the kitchen is half way done too. I've also cleaned-up our backyard and added lots of new flowers. We've been replacing artwork downstairs and moving things around so our house has had a major facelift. I've been really good about working out or running every other day since Christmas and the cookie pounds are officially coming off! I WILL be 'bikini ready' by Spring. We've been spending lots of time outside this month, enjoying the nice weather. Cami will be 16 months tomorrow so I'll do a post about the girls next :)
Oh, and I'm so excited about a little something new I learned about from my 'eco-friendly' friend Delilah who owns a great store, The Road Less Traveled, in Santa Ana. I'm starting to participate in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Each week I will get a crate of fresh veggies and fruit. I'm so excited. I tried some samplings from her box, and it was AMAZING.....so much better than grocery store food. It's picked the SAME day its delievered. How great is that?!
